Vultures can fly for six hours
without flapping their wings
This lazy angel of death hangs over our head
Forever, motionless above until we are motionless
Below. He makes sure our sleep is permanent before
He dives to feast on our mortality to give him strength
To soar again, but as soon as he makes his final landing,
His brothers gather at his last supper to do the same for him.
