                                                      Are never good news –
                                                      are never I got the job…
                                                      I met this girl…
                                                      Congratulations, you won…
                                                      Even It’s a boy!
                                                      often waits till morning.

                                                      No, it’s usually
                                                      I know it’s late…
                                                     Are you the parent…
                                                     It’s your father…

                                                    And if it’s an unfamiliar
                                                    voice asking for a stranger,
                                                    I do not resent the wrong
                                                    number, but simply say
                                                    No problem
                                                    and go back to sleep.

                                                    Unless I get thinking
                                                    about the person
                                                    they meant to call.
