Tread Life Warranty

More thoughts about cars and tires and other things.

                                                Tread Life Warranty

                                    Is affected by balance, for
                                    anything unbalanced will go
out of true: wobble and uneven
wear are enemies of long life.
                                    As is inappropriate pressure:
too much leads to blow outs,
                                    too little to sagging inefficiency.
                                    Proper mounting is also important,
                                    along with periodic rotation
                                    to fresh positions: variety
                                    also encourages longevity
                                    Road hazards should be avoided,
although they can seldom be seen
                                    in time. Likewise, reckless racing
                                    and heavy hauling are discouraged.
However, even with careful use comes
                                    the inevitable balding, loss of
                                    grip, and erratic control.
Then is the best time to discard
the old and replace with the new.
Beyond this, there is no guarantee.
